Education and Professional Experience

He earned a B.S. and an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Seoul National University. After he graduated from the Korea 3rd Military Academy, he joined the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science. Before joining SNU, he had been an associate professor in Electrical and Eletronics Department at KAIST and an assistant professor in Computer Science Department at NJIT, USA.

Computer system security, Internet of Things security, System on Chip Design, Compiler Design
